Manual configuration

Here are the settings for email clients and other devices.

Username: your email address
Password: your password
Incoming Server: mail.your-domain *
IMAP Port: 993
POP3 Port: 995
Outgoing Server: mail.your-domain *
SMTP Port: 465
Security: SSL/TLS

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.

Mobile device

These screens show the settings on an Android phone; filled in.
Note: You will have to replace mail.your-domain * in the 2 server fields.

Outlook

You may need to manually specify a new account as IMAP. 

The server setup screen should look like this

Note: You will have to replace mail.your-domain * in the 2 server fields.

If using POP with Outlook, ensure messages will be deleted from the server once you are finished with them (account > more settings > advanced). If you don't, you will fill your mail-box with messages that should be deleted.

The web-mail client

Once you have logged in to the web-mail interface you can set up email forwarding and change your password.

There are installation scripts for some major email clients available from the "Configure Mail Client" option.

These settings are accessed by clicking on your email address (in the top right hand corner of the screen).

Disk space

I can not allow unlimited disk space for emails. In general, mail-boxes are 1GB in size. This should be enough for around 5,000 messages, but the real number of messages you can store will vary greatly according to the size of attachments, images and so on.

Mail-box size can be varied, but making it larger means there is less space left for your website and any other services you require.

* What is your-domain?

your-domain is the last part of your email address. e.g. if your email address is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., the domain is example.com, and you can reach the web-mail interface through www.example.com/webmail.

You can use base-camp.uk in place of your-domain (e.g. access web-mail at https://base-camp.uk:2096). You may need to do this if you move your website to a third party (e.g. Wix).
